  • Kenji Oku is an associate professor of the Department of Rheumatology and Infectious Diseases at the Kitasato University. His interests have focused on both basic science and clinical research in SLE and the antiphospholipid syndrome.
    Recently, as the member of the standing committee of the APLAR as well as the member of the special interest group, he and his colleagues published the Consensus Statements on the Management of SLE. Additionally, as fellow of Japan College of Rheumatology (JCR), he holds various senior level positions including the member of the standing committee of the clinical guidelines on SLE and on juvenile SLE.
