  • Dr. Jonggi Choi is the assistant professor at the Asan Medical Center in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
    Dr. Choi completed his internal medicine training at the Asan Medical Center and worked as a research fellow at the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, US. He came back to Korea and completed his gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at the Asan Medical Center.

    Dr. Choi has over 50 publications and his main research interest includes viral hepatitis, liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. He has published several papers as a main author at major hepatology journals, including JAMA oncology, Journal of Hepatology, Hepatology, Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and American Journal of Gastroenterology.
    Dr. Choi is a member of several professional organization, including Korean Association for the Study of the Liver (KASL), the Korean Liver Cancer Association (KLCA), and the Korean Society of Gastroenterology
