  • Yoshiya Tanaka, MD, PhD is Professor and Chairman of the First Department of Internal Medicine, School of Medicine (2000-present) and Dean of Graduate School of Medical Science, University of Occupational and Environmental Health, Japan. He reviewed 904 publications (impact factor 7,714, h-index 105) in English. His scientific focus lies on pathological mechanisms and development of novel treatments in systemic autoimmune diseases. He is the president of JACI, chair of international committee of APLAR, chair of international committee of JCR and board member of many societies. He is also an editor-in-chief of MRCR, an associate editor of Rheumatology, Cytokine, AR&T, IJRD and many, an editorial board member of ARD, RMD Open, MR, etc. He has received numerous awards from JSBMR, JCR and EULAR.
