Eun Bong Lee M.D., Ph.D, a rheumatologist, is professor of medicine in department of Internal Medicine at Seoul National University Hospital in Seoul, Korea. He received M.D. and Ph.D degree from Seoul National University College of Medicine and completed his internship, residency and fellowship training at Seoul National University Hospital. As a physician-scientist, his major interest is focused on the prevention of comorbidities of rheumatic diseases, care of rare rheumatic diseases such as systemic sclerosis and investigation into immunologic basis of autoimmune diseases. He has also participated in many global clinical trials for novel rheumatologic drugs as a principal investigator. He has published more than 200 papers in renowned journals including New England Journal of Medicine, Annals of Rheumatic Diseases and Arthritis and Rheumatology.
